Child Dies while PM's Cavalcade Passes On.

The value of human life is so insignificant in this country that save for a 10 second report in the media no one bothers to talk about it. This is the second time that Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's convoy has stopped traffic leading to death of a bonafide citizen of the country-a child in Kanpur this time.
What does it take to make our soft spoken, educated and genteel Prime Minister sit up and take notice of these things?
How can one make our politicians understand that the young life lost may have had the potential to be another Rabindra Nath Tagore, C.V. Raman, Mother Teresa or Amartya Sen?
How can you make them see that their ridiculous self importance diminishes them in the eyes of the citizens? How will they ever repay the loss of young Aman's life to his family?
What punishment can you give the self styled upholders of VIP security who refuse passage to people even after they see that they have a critically injured child with them?
Should one fall back upon the law of the jungle- an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth?
Maybe that will make them sweat. Maybe that will make Manmohan Singh and his ilk take notice!
