Laugh Away your Worries

In an International “Tall-Talk Contest” there remained the last two knock-out rounds for one of the finalists to come out victorious.

Round 1: The three participants were asked to narrate something that proved that their country was the best. The contestants were from the US, Australia and India. Thus spake the contestants:
Australian: The Mountains in my country are so high, so high that if a guy falls from the top of the mountain you will only be able to see some bones below.
US: the Mountains in my country are higher. If a guy falls from the top of the mountain you can’t even find the bones. There will only be some dust at the bottom of the mountain.
The Indian thought for a while and said: The Mountains in my country are even higher. If a child falls from the top of the mountain he becomes an old man by the time he reaches the bottom!

Needless to say the smart Indian moved on to the final round!

Now our Indian friend had to pit his wits against mechanical engineers from Germany and Japan in the final round. The German started by bragging about precision engineering from his country. As an example he made a steel rod as thin as a strand of hair and beamed at his achievement. Not to be outdone the Japanese engineer bore a capillary into that rod and bowed with humility to show that Japan was even more advanced in precision engineering. Our Indian friend was a philosopher and not an engineer. He scratched his head for a second and taking the piece of engineering wonder in his hands quickly stamped it with “Made in India”!

Now, what else could the judges do, but, to declare him the winner?!!!
